Follow Up Review

Modified the parts list to convert model from CH-46E to HH-46D variant, but overall very happy with the design. Detail is fantastic and the synced rotor heads are awesome. Only critique is that the model is very fragile; I had to piece the model back together more than once, especially the aft pylon, when connecting various sections. This model would be best completed in short evolutions using Kragle (Krazy Glue) to ensure stability. Decals are still missing in my photos as I intend to create my own Navy variants rather than purchase the available Marine Corps version.

Great Instructions, but…

Very detailed instructions, but parts list is slightly incomplete and there was some confusion about whether listed parts were white or clear. Also, there are certain specialty parts listed that are no longer found on the Lego website and will be hard to track down.

Tremendous!

Having a fairly substantial custom lego vehicle collection, this is my first model from plane bricks. This helicopter blew me away, the detail is great and the scale for minifigures is absolutely perfect. The sides are a tad delicate to inward force so you have to be a bit careful when handling it, but its nothing that is too difficult to handle and it is absolutely worth it for the effect achieved for the circle windows. Overall I would highly recommend!
