For those of you that may not be as familiar with the Lego community as others, this is a digital file. Nothing physical will be sent. You will need to order brick to complete this build. The ''cost of brick estimate'' may change from the time from when the estimate was made.

Introducing the B-17G Flying Fortress, designed and built by our Master Builder Jonah Padberg, this historically accurate B-17 made with genuine LEGO® parts, will make your home or office "the bomb!" Plus, did you know we offer customization so that you can make your B-17 look like you want it to? It is a bit extra in price and restrictions do apply, but where else can you get that?

The first B-17 took off in 1935 from Boeing field in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Times reporter, Richard Smith dubbed it the Flying Fortress and Boeing made sure the name stuck. The B-17 went from design board to flight test in less than a year! It served the U.S. Army during WWII as 12,726 were made. American Commander in Europe, General Carl Spaatz said, "without the B-17, we may have lost the war."

Nice build with a few difficult parts.

This build is wonderful, it uses many advanced techniques such as hinges to create a model that looks stunning in the end. Though some of the pieces were pretty hard to find on bricklink and front bombardier sight actually had to be glued on. The plane also had some structural problems at first, so lots of parts kept falling off. Overall it is still amazing and I would definitely recommend to anyone to buy this model. The actual cost of the bricks is around $250 without the figs and $315-350 with the figs. So not super expensive.

Great model

Model looks fantastic and is huge. There are a couple difficult parts of the build but the finished product is definitely one of the best custom B-17s I’ve seen at this scale.

Overall Experience

This shit right here, dont even get me started. It is LIT and has helped me with my suicidal problems as my father loved plane models. Unfortunately he has passed now and had left me with this AMAZING hobby. Love you Dad
